Terms and Conditions/ Privacy Policy/ Refund Policy

Important Points:
1. VolvoIndiaBus  is an online marketplace. It does not operate bus services of its own. In order to provide a comprehensive choice of bus operators, departure times and prices to customers,
 it has tied up with many bus operators. 
VolvoIndiaBus  advice to customers is to choose bus operators they are aware of and whose service they are comfortable with.
VolvoIndiaBus  responsibilities include: 
    -     Issuing a valid ticket (a ticket that will be accepted by the bus operator) for its network of bus operators 
    -     Providing refund and support in the event of cancellation
    -     Providing customer support and information in case of any delays / inconvenience
VolvoIndiaBus  responsibilities do NOT include:
  • The bus operators bus not departing / reaching on time.
  • The bus operator's employees being rude.
  • The bus operators bus seats etc not being up to the customer's expectation.
  • The bus operator cancelling the trip due to unavoidable reasons.
  • The baggage of the customer getting lost / stolen / damaged.
  • The bus operator changing a customer's seat at the last minute to accommodate a lady / child.
  • The customer waiting at the wrong boarding point (please call the bus operator to find out the exact, boarding point if you are not a regular traveller on that particular bus).
  • The bus operator changing the boarding point and/or using a pick-up vehicle at the boarding point to take customers to the bus departure point.
  • Passengers are required to furnish the following at the time of boarding the bus:
  • A copy of the ticket (A print out of the ticket or the print out of the ticket e-mail).
  • Identity proof (Driving license, Student ID card, Company ID card, Passport, PAN card or Voter ID card). Failing to do so, they may not be allowed to board the bus.
  • All tickets issued shall be non-transferable.
  • Passengers are required to reach the boarding place before 30 min of scheduled departure time.
  • Change in Bus Type:
  • In case the bus operator changes the type of bus due to some reason or any other discrepancy, we will refund the differential amount to the customer only upon being intimated by the bus operator.
  • we are not the responsible for any kind of changes in bus departing/arvial time . it will fully dependent on Bus operator.
  • The bus time could be Varey 1 to 2 hours.
Ticket Cancellation:
VolvoIndiaBus  will charge 50% per ticket as a VolvoIndiaBus  service fee in case user cancels the booking.
Cancellation of tickets with more than 12 hours to the bus journey:
Cancellation of tickets can be done either by logging on the Company account (online) or by calling on the customer care number (offline). To cancel the tickets online, Users shall have to complete the following procedure :
Log onto www.VolvoIndiaBus .com.
Click on the signing link at the top.
Click on Request Cancellation against the tickets you have booked.
The User can either cancel his/her entire booking or partial booking.
To cancel the tickets offline, call the customer care numbers +91-9311040295 between 10 AM to 8 PM , Monday - Saturday.
Cancellation of tickets within 24 hours of the bus journey:
The User will have to contact the bus operator to get his/her reservation cancelled. Company is in no way responsible to ensure that the ticket shall be cancelled and the sole liability to confirm the same with the bus operator shall lie with the User.
  • 0 to 12 hrs : 100%
  • 12 hrs and above : 50%

Example :- If your Bus Boarding time is 11.30 PM, then if you cancel on between 12 hrs from your journey time (ie- 11.30 AM on same day) then there will no any refund allow. Its mean your 100% charge will deduct. If you cancel your ticket before from 11.30 AM then you will liable for 50% refund amount.

  • Baggage & luggage:
  • Maximum 20kg of Baggage & Luggage is allowed per passenger. Above 20kgs is chargeable as per policies.
  • Management is not responsible for any loss, theft or damages to the goods or property of the passenger.
  • Luggage & Baggage is carried at your own risk.
  • No Contraband articles are permitted to be carried by any passenger.
Other terms & conditions:
  • Management is not responsible for delay and cancellation of trips on account of Breakdown, Accident, Riots etc., and due to any unforeseen circumstances.
  • In case of cancellation of a coach, proportionate refund will be paid back.
  • In case of coach break-down, management is not responsible for any alternate transport arrangement, though management will try its best to provide another available coach.
  • Pets, Animals, Birds are not permitted in the coach, and if found, the passenger is bound to be alighted (get out) from coach.
  • Smoking and Drinking are not permitted inside the coach. Any implication to that effect, will be borne by passenger only.
  • Passenger found disturbing the co-passenger, in a logical way, is liable to be alighted from the coach. However for further assistance or complaint please feel free to contact us.
  • All transaction amount is in INR (Indian National Rupee)


Liabilities & Limitations Policy:

  • The itineraries that are provided to the guests are basically our sample itineraries intending to give you an outline of the trip schedules that are offered by us. However, certain factors like weather, the physical ability of the guest and the road condition etc renders us to make some changes in the schedule either before the tour or while you are on the trail itself. Thus, the right of changing the schedule is exclusively determined by us keeping in mind the safety, comfort and the well being of the guest.
  • We charge you as per the prevailing rates in the market and the rates are also negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines and all our other clients. However airlines and hotels retain the right of modifying the rates without giving us prior notice. In this case Volvo India Bus. holds the right to charge the rate as per the modified rates that is done by the airlines and the hotels.
  • On the contracted tours / service cost if there are any hikes by the Government of India for the guide charges, fuel cost, entrance fees of the museum, monuments and service tax than the same would be paid by the guest.
  • If there are any delay or alteration in the program or in the expenses that has to be incurred due to certain conditions like the natural hazards, accident, flight cancellations, weather, sickness, political closures, breakdown of machinery, breakdown of transport or due to any untoward incidents, Volvo India Bus. would not be responsible for it either directly or indirectly.
  • Participants are requested to take care of all their belongings and if there is any loss, injury or damage to any person, property connected to the accommodation, transportation and other service that is rendered by us that are caused directly or indirectly by factors like accidents, natural calamities, breakdowns, wars, thefts, civil disturbances, strikes, epidemics, and any other unexpected causes that are beyond our control, we shall not be responsible for it because we have no insurance policy that can borne the expenses of accidents, loss caused by sickness and theft etc. Hence, we request our guests to seek such insurance policy in their hometown itself so that they can enjoy a comfortable and tension free trip with us. We also expect you to take care of all your personal belongings as any loss related to baggage and personal property would be borne by you.
  • Each complaint should be addressed to Volvo India Bus., firstly by phone and then in written during or at the finish of their tour to India. No complaints will be attended, firstly addressed to Volvo India Bus. by the customer after 15 days from the date of ending services or when returned to his city or country of origin.
  • Volvo India Bus. cannot accept any responsibility for faults committed by third parties such as hotels, restaurants, and flights/rail tickets.
  • Though Volvo India Bus. will do all what is in their power to solve the source of the complaint as soon as they have been advised about it.
